Surnames within this index have been capitalized for easier viewing, while company names, when known, have been left in mixed (upper and lower) case.  As with any research in old documents, mistakes can be made.  Some papers were very faded, spelling mistakes were made, etc.  Please keep this in mind when looking through this index and use variations in spelling when searching for a specific surname.  The information contained here will not be corrected but will remain in the format (including spellings) as it has been interpreted from the original records.  Records are sorted by Plaintiff's name and also by Defendant's name.
